Saudi Arabia has announced the formation of a 34-state military coalition to combat terrorism threats posed by Islamic militants. Saudi's Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman said the coalition would tackle "the Islamic world's problem with terrorism and be a partner in the worldwide fight against the scourge”.
Members include a list of Arab, Gulf and African states, as well as Pakistan and Malaysia. According to the SPA state news agency, more than 10 other countries also expressed support.
