India thrashed Afghanistan in  U-19 SAFF championship by 2-0. The 2015 SAFF U-19 Championship is the first edition of the SAFF U-19 Championship, an international football competition for men's under-19 national teams organized by SAFF. The tournament is being hosted by Nepal.

India took the first lead at the 11th minute of the first half. Kamal Preet Singh scored the first goal of the match.Afghanistan played hard to come back at the game but the dreams soon came to end when India made the score line double at the 86th minute. Anirudh Thapa scored the second goal.
Afghanistan goalie Mustafa was red carded in the match.
