The women, aged between 20 and 40, were brought to Nepal on Nepal Airlines plane at around 12:45pm at the initiative of the Indian Embassy in New Delhi, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare.
The 27 women were being trafficked to Dubai and other Gulf cities two weeks ago for employing in risky jobs, including commercial sex, the Nepalese authorities said.
